*JNCT Faculty Members Honored with Prestigious NPTEL Star Recognition at IIT Roorkee

Jai Narain College of Technology (JNCT), Bhopal, proudly congratulates Dr. Meetu Singh and Dr. Rishu Upadhyay for receiving the prestigious NPTEL Star Recognition for their valuable contribution to the NPTEL Initiative.

JNCT also congratulates Saurabh Kumar, B.Tech CSE student, for achieving NPTEL Discipline Star Recognition for his outstanding performance in the January–April 2026 Semester.

The NPTEL Star Felicitation Ceremony was held on 11 July 2026 at MAC Auditorium, IIT Roorkee, in the presence of senior professors from IIT Roorkee, NPTEL team members from IIT Delhi.

These achievements highlight JNCT’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.

Installation Ceremony of YUVA Yi Executive Council

The Training & Placement Department, successfully organized the Installation Ceremony of the YUVA Yi Executive Council – JNCT, marking the beginning of a new journey of leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship and social responsibility.

We were privileged to have —

Mr. Abhishek Kulshrestha – Partner, FCG Consulting Group, who delivered an insightful Pathfinder Presentation, introducing students to the vision, opportunities and leadership ecosystem of Young Indians.

Mr. Mayank Sahita – Owner, Sahita Construction Company, who conducted the impactful Farishtey Session, creating awareness about road safety, responsible citizenship and the importance of saving lives through timely action.

Mr. Vishal Vishwakarma – Executive Member, Young Indians Bhopal, who inspired students to embrace leadership, teamwork and community engagement through Yi initiatives.

The most awaited moment of the event was the Badge Ceremony and Installation of the YUVA Yi Executive Council of JNCT, held in the auspicious presence of our distinguished guests from CII Young Indians (Yi), Bhopal. The newly installed council members pledged to uphold the values of leadership, integrity, innovation and nation-building while contributing meaningfully to society through the initiatives of Young Indians.

JNCT Futsal Cup 2026 – A Grand Success! 

The Jai Narain College of Technology, Bhopal Sports Department successfully organized the JNCT Futsal Cup 2026, featuring 8 competitive teams in an exciting knockout tournament. The event showcased outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork, and high-energy performances throughout the competition.

Organized under the guidance of Lt. Anurag Chouksey and Mr. Ajay Rawat, the tournament concluded with a thrilling final where Team Blaster emerged as the Champions, defeating Team Gold Digger by 3–2.

Congratulations to the winners, runners-up, and all participants for making the tournament a memorable success!

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, JNCT, under the IEEE Student Branch, successfully organized an Expert Talk on “AI-Enabled Optical Sensors for Healthcare Applications” on 7th July 2026.

Dr. Gaurav Kumar Bharti, Associate Professor, Galgotias University, Greater Noida, delivered an insightful session on the role of Artificial Intelligence and optical sensors in smart healthcare, diagnostics, and patient monitoring. The session inspired students to explore innovation, research, and emerging career opportunities in AI-driven healthcare technologies.

Jai Narain College of Technology successfully organized an insightful Expert Lecture on “Digital Carbon Footprints”, catalysed and supported by the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science & Technology (MPCST), Bhopal.

The session was delivered by Dr. Savita Dixit, Professor (HAG), Department of Chemistry, MANIT Bhopal, who highlighted the environmental impact of digital technologies and emphasized the importance of sustainable digital practices.
