Students, Heads of Departments, and faculty members participated enthusiastically, performing yoga together and embracing the spirit of health, harmony, and mindfulness.
The session highlighted the importance of yoga in maintaining physical fitness, mental well-being, and a balanced lifestyle.

Jai Narain College of Technology successfully organized an insightful Expert Lecture on “Digital Carbon Footprints”, catalysed and supported by the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science & Technology (MPCST), Bhopal.
The session was delivered by Dr. Savita Dixit, Professor (HAG), Department of Chemistry, MANIT Bhopal, who highlighted the environmental impact of digital technologies and emphasized the importance of sustainable digital practices. Jai Narain College of Technology successfully organized an insightful Expert Talk on the topic “Climate Action in Madhya Pradesh: Local Initiatives and Success Stories”, catalysed and supported by the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science & Technology (MPCST), Bhopal.
The session was delivered by Dr. Swati Moghe, State Director, MP-CG, WWF India, who shared valuable insights into climate action initiatives, environmental sustainability, community participation and successful conservation efforts being undertaken across Madhya Pradesh. The talk inspired students and faculty members to understand their role in addressing environmental challenges and contributing towards a sustainable future.

The LoU was formally signed by Dr. Ravi Shankar Mishra, Director, JNCT and Dr. Swati Moghe, State Director, MP-CG, WWF India, through the active efforts of the Nature Club, JNCT under the convenorship of Dr. Rishu Upadhyaya.
This collaboration aims to promote environmental education, conservation initiatives, knowledge sharing, and meaningful opportunities for students and faculty to contribute towards a greener and more sustainable future.

The YUVA Yi Executive Council, JNCT along with faculty members actively participated in an online Expert Talk on “Smoking & Tobacco: The Ultimate Beauty Thief” organized by Young Indians (Yi) Bhopal on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day 2026.
The insightful session was delivered by Dr. Kapila Verma Wadhwani (MBBS, MD, DNB), who highlighted the harmful effects of smoking and tobacco consumption on health, appearance and overall well-being. The session encouraged participants to adopt a tobacco-free lifestyle and spread awareness within society.

On the occasion of World Metrology Day (20 May 2026), the Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an expert lecture on “Units Analysis for Measurements” by Prof. Anant Ram Mishra.
During the session, Prof. Ram Mishra explained the commonly used units in measurements and demonstrated how to convert them into different units accurately. He also highlighted the importance of unit analysis in engineering and practical applications.
The lecture was highly informative and enhanced students’ understanding of measurement systems and unit conversions.

The two-day mega technical fest JNCT Tech Hunt 2026, organized by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Jai Narain College of Technology (JNCT) on 12th & 13th May 2026, has been successfully completed with tremendous energy, innovation, competition, and enthusiasm!
From intense coding battles to strategic gaming wars and mind-blowing AI problem-solving challenges, the event became a true celebration of technology, talent, and teamwork.
