World Environment Day 2026 Celebration at JNCT

Jai Narain College of Technology (JNCT), successfully celebrated World Environment Day 2026, catalysed and supported by the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science & Technology (MPCST), Bhopal, with the objective of promoting environmental awareness and sustainable living.

World No Tobacco Day 2026 – Expert Talk

The YUVA Yi Executive Council, JNCT along with faculty members actively participated in an online Expert Talk on “Smoking & Tobacco: The Ultimate Beauty Thief” organized by Young Indians (Yi) Bhopal on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day 2026.

The insightful session was delivered by Dr. Kapila Verma Wadhwani (MBBS, MD, DNB), who highlighted the harmful effects of smoking and tobacco consumption on health, appearance and overall well-being. The session encouraged participants to adopt a tobacco-free lifestyle and spread awareness within society.

World Metrology Day 2026

On the occasion of World Metrology Day (20 May 2026), the Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an expert lecture on “Units Analysis for Measurements” by Prof. Anant Ram Mishra.

During the session, Prof. Ram Mishra explained the commonly used units in measurements and demonstrated how to convert them into different units accurately. He also highlighted the importance of unit analysis in engineering and practical applications.

The lecture was highly informative and enhanced students’ understanding of measurement systems and unit conversions.

Seminar on World Bee Day 2026

The Nature Club and Entrepreneurship Cell of JNCT, Bhopal successfully organized a Seminar on World Bee Day in collaboration with the

Kalchuri LNCT Group Incubation Centre and Anupam Incubation and Innovation Centre (KLIC-AIIC)

Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), Ministry of MSME, Government of India.

JNCT TECH HUNT 2026 – A GRAND SUCCESS!

The two-day mega technical fest JNCT Tech Hunt 2026, organized by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Jai Narain College of Technology (JNCT) on 12th & 13th May 2026, has been successfully completed with tremendous energy, innovation, competition, and enthusiasm!

From intense coding battles to strategic gaming wars and mind-blowing AI problem-solving challenges, the event became a true celebration of technology, talent, and teamwork.

Events Conducted:

CodeSaga – Testing coding skills, logic building, and problem-solving abilities.

LAN Castle – A thrilling gaming competition full of strategy, teamwork, and excitement.

AI RapidSolve – Challenging participants with AI-based innovative thinking and rapid technical solutions.

The campus was filled with passion, creativity, competitive spirit, and unforgettable moments throughout both days. Students from different branches participated with incredible dedication and showcased their technical excellence on a grand platform.

National Technology Day Celebration at MPCST, Bhopal

“Technology is best when it brings people together and creates meaningful impact.”

Students of Jai Narain College of Technology (JNCT) were invited to celebrate National Technology Day at the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (MPCST), Bhopal on 11th May 2026.

The celebration provided students with valuable insights into the importance of technology, innovation, and scientific advancement. The event also featured an exciting hands-on robotics workshop, where students designed and developed their own Robo Cars.

Students and faculty members were also felicitated with certificates for their active participation and enthusiasm throughout the event.

2-Day Workshop Highlight: Python, Excel & Power BI

We are delighted to share the successful completion of a 2-Day Hands-on Workshop on Python, Excel & Power BI held on 22nd–23rd April 2026 at JNCT Campus.

The session was conducted by Mr. Vikas Singh, Data Science Trainer & Coding Thinker, who provided valuable industry-oriented insights and practical knowledge to the participants.

This enriching workshop was organized under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC 8.0) and Computer Society of India (CSI) by the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science.

The Nature Club, JNCT successfully organized a “Go Green Selfie Contest” and Sketch Making Competition on the occasion of Earth Day 2026, promoting creativity and environmental awareness among students.

ComicPreneur 2026 – A Grand Success

The Entrepreneurship Cell, JNCT and LNCTS successfully organized ComicPreneur 2026 – “AI Tools × Human Creativity: Building Startups of the Future”, creating an inspiring platform where innovation met creativity.

We were truly delighted to have Mr. Kamalakkannan Durairaju, a startup founder, an innovative storyteller, AI artist and entrepreneur from Chennai, whose energy, insights and unique approach to storytelling and AI-powered creativity made the workshop highly engaging and impactful.

The event featured an insightful Panel Discussion, where students actively interacted with the speaker, exploring topics like the real difference between using AI and building with AI, startup journeys, challenges and the future of creativity in the age of artificial intelligence.

Through the interactive Runway Card Game, students explored the journey of startups, understanding key stages and concepts through creative storytelling and real-time decision-making.

Students also engaged in exciting team activities like “Build a Startup in 5 Minutes”, where they transformed ideas into quick startup pitches, enhancing their creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

A special Felicitation Ceremony was held to honour the excellence of Ex-Members of E-Cell JNCT, where they were awarded with “Work Appreciation Certificates” for their valuable contributions.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and all attendees had an enriching and enjoyable experience.
