Submit Your Research
The International Conference on Smart Technologies, Advanced Computing and Sustainable Engineering Systems(ICSTACSES-2027) is technically sponsored by the IEEE Madhya Pradesh Section. The conference aims to provide a platform for researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and students to present their latest research contributions, exchange knowledge, and foster cross-disciplinary collaborations.
In ICSTACSES-2027, we expect participation from academia, research organizations, and industry professionals working in all major and interdisciplinary areas of Smart Technologies, Advanced Computing and Sustainable Engineering Systems.
Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.
We invite original and high-quality research papers in, but not limited to, the following tracks:

Paper Submission Guidelines
Papers submitted to ICSTACSES-2027 must contain original work by the author(s) that has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. The anti-plagiarism policy applies to all submissions. The author(s) are solely responsible for any plagiarized content.
All papers must be prepared and submitted in the standard two-column conference format (A4 size, in English). Papers should be four to six pages in length, including text, figures, photographs, and references. Literature review-only papers will not be accepted. Papers exceeding six pages will be subject to additional page charges.
The first page must include the paper title, author(s), affiliations, and address. While preparing manuscripts, authors are requested not to include titles such as Dr., Prof., Mr., or Ms. in the author list. Each paper will undergo a double-blind peer review by at least three reviewers from the international review panel. All papers must strictly follow the conference template; submissions not conforming to the format may be rejected. Detailed format information is available on the website.
Paper Upload:
Submitting authors may be required to create a CMT account before uploading their papers. While uploading, authors must provide the paper title and an abstract (maximum 250 words) in the respective text boxes on the submission page.
Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.
Manuscript and Submission Guidelines
Authors must follow these manuscript guidelines:
- Manuscripts should be structured as technical papers and represent original, unpublished research that is not under reviewby any other conference or journal.
- Papers must be four to six pages, single-spaced, double-column, using 10-point fonton A4 size pages , including figures, tables, and references.
- Conference style templates for MS Word and LaTeX are available for download from Conference Publishing. Papers not following these style guidelines may be rejected without review.
- All submissions will undergo mandatory plagiarism screeningas per guidelines. Papers violating publication ethics will be desk-rejected, and the parent organizations of all authors will be notified.
- All submissions will be reviewed by the Program Committee under a double-blind review process.
- Submissions will be judged on correctness, originality, technical strength, significance, potential impact, quality of presentation, and relevance to the conference scope.
- The author list and order at the time of submission is final. No co-authors can be added, removed, or re-ordered after the submission deadline or upon acceptance (without exception).
- Submissions that do not meet size, formatting, or anonymization requirements will be rejected without review.
- Upon acceptance, at least one author must registerfor the conference and present the paper. Each accepted paper must have a separate registration.
- Authors of every accepted paper must sign the copyright transfer agreement. This must be completed online using the Copyright Release Form.
- Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.
The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.

Total file size of the paper must not exceed 5 MB.
IEEE policies:
The E-Copyright form must be submitted by the author or presenter at the time of registration. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., by not including it in IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference. Papers are reviewed on the basis that they do not contain plagiarized material and have not been submitted to any other conference at the same time (double submission). These matters are taken very seriously and IEEE will take action against any author who has engaged in either practice.

Camera Ready Submission Guidelines
- For successful submission of camera-ready paper, carefully follow the instructions mentioned below:
You must incorporate the reviewers’ suggestions when preparing your camera-ready paper for the proceedings. The page limit is six pages and is strict.
At least one author must register with Full Author Registration and present the selected paper at ICSTACSES-2027, in order for the paper to be considered for inclusion on IEEE Xplore. Each registration is meant for ONE (01) participant to attend the conference only. Co-author(s) who are also participating in the conference will need to register separately under the appropriate registration category. Please keep the proof of payment with you as it will be asked to be submitted.
Please make sure that the similarity index of your manuscript is below 15%, using standard plagiarism-checking software (e.g., Turnitin, etc.), before submitting the camera-ready paper from your end to confirm the submission of the paper to IEEE Xplore. If the similarity index is more than 15%, then your paper will not be included in the conference proceedings.
The authors are urged to ensure that the camera-ready submission strictly follow the template. The camera-ready papers that do not meet these requirements will not be submitted for further consideration to IEEE Xplore.
Before submitting the camera-ready paper and e-copyright transfer form on Microsoft CMT create PDF through PDF eXpress of your manuscript.
The final manuscript should have the copyright clearance code notice at the bottom of the first page. Kindly refer to the LaTex/Word template provided and replace the dummy code at the first-page bottom with this code whichever is applicable:
For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright.
- Before Creating a PDF
Add the copyright clearance code notice to the bottom of the first page of your paper.
Proof read your source document thoroughly to confirm that it will require no revision.

Prior to the Final Submission, the pdf file should be created through PDF eXpress If you generated a pdf from Latex, then again, you have to check it through PDF eXpress.
- Author Console
You should submit your camera-ready paper and e-copyright transfer form on Microsoft CMT for ICSTACSES-2027. Create camera ready submission and upload the final pdf created above.
Registration
The registration fee structure is provided in the table below. Please note that one author registration covers only one paper and one presenting author. Authors submitting multiple papers must register each additional paper separately, as per the fee chart. However, if a single author is presenting multiple papers, a concession in the registration fee may be provided (not applicable for student category). If more than one co-author plans to attend and present, an additional registration fee as an attendee must be paid. The standard length of a paper is six (6) pages. Each extra page beyond this limit will incur an additional charge of USD 15 per page (for international authors) and INR 500 per page (for Indian authors). Only registered and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore®.

Proceedings
The ICSTACSES-2027 Conference Proceedings will be published by the Conference Publishing Services (CPS). Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.. It is mandatory that at least one author registers and presents each accepted paper in order for it to be included in the conference proceedings. The proceedings will be made available to participants during the conference.
