Dr Pallavee-Bhatnagar, Ph.D.
Dr. Pallavee Bhatnagar is a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Maulana Azad
National Institute of Technology, Bhopal. In her doctoral research, she has worked
extensively on DSP based maximum power point tracking for solar PV based
power generation and developed a new technology which is under the process of
commercialization. The work has also resulted in highly cited papers in journals of
international repute. Her experience spans from academics and industry to R&D
and social work. Prior to taking up academic assignments, she has worked with All
India Radio (AIR) and National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Ltd. She has
also headed Product Development in Nucleus Electro Enterprises Ltd. for many
She has been associated with the LNCT Group of Colleges for past two decades.
She has previously served as Head (Department of Electrical and Electronics
Engineering) for nine years. She has been instrumental in developing and
sustaining a strong academic culture, establishing high-end labs, imparting overall
development to students and encouraging research oriented approach in the

electronic converters and LED based lighting systems. She is a Member, Institute
of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc. (IEEE) and Life Member, Indian
Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the year 2003 with the objective to impart quality education of highest standard, encourage creative talent and establish epicenter of excellence in learning & research in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Sufficient infrastructural facilities are available in the Department for smoothly carrying out academic activities. The department is endowed with well equipped laboratories as required by curriculum of RGPV. It is constantly modernizing the infrastructure and laboratory facilities. Well qualified, committed and motivated faculty members having specialization in various streams assure the proper utilization of these facilities in student’s interest. Department also puts lot of emphasis on Major and Minor Projects and have separate project laboratory to explore students potential, in the art of creativity and interaction with the latest technology.
It is widely acknowledged that an engineering undergraduate education is a strong foundation for a successful career in many disciplines including, of course, engineering but additionally management, business, software and many more. While our primary focus is on engineering careers, we are pleased when our graduates take their foundations in analysis, problem solving, and understanding of complex systems into diverse careers.

Industrial visits represent important activities in any engineering undergraduate program that contribute to the achievement of various essential learning outcomes and program objectives It helps to bridge the gap between classroom and the real working world. Department regularly organizes industrial visits not only in the Bhopal but also to the outside industries/power sectors.

The strength of EX department is highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty to the cause of academics and striving to do the best in the interest of the institute and its students. Faculty as a team aim to remain focused, promote innovational learning, serve beyond campus, build a web of relationships for success. The faculty of the department has been constantly carrying out research on many cutting edge technologies and regularly publishes in good international journals.
The Department has over 12 well equipped laboratories supported by 30 numbers of PCs and workstations hosting several software packages like MATLAB. Internet services are available to all students and faculty.
